New consequence of the violent demonstrations of „yellow vests“ Saturday in Paris: after the dismissal of the Paris police chief, yesterday, the boss of the public security of Paris was removed from office on Tuesday, March 19th. On the government side, no resignation, but the Minister of the Interior and the Minister of Economy and Finance must be heard this afternoon before two Senate committees. There are many criticisms of the management of the executive of these events, for some opposition MPs, it is especially the Minister of the Interior, who should leave.
In the National Assembly, the opposition parties are calling in unison the creation of a commission of inquiry and the hearing of Christophe Castaner, these days, not next week as planned, insists the Socialist Boris Vallaud:
“ Is it normal because it is a majority that is obviously close to the executive that we have to wait until next week to get the answers? I do not think it’s serious, „he says.
At the end of this hearing, the Socialists will eventually call for the resignation of Christophe Castaner. They are the only ones to be lenient.
