New consequence of the violent demonstrations of „yellow vests“ Saturday in Paris: after the dismissal of the Paris police chief, yesterday, the boss of the public security of Paris was removed from office on Tuesday, March 19th. On the government side, no resignation, but the Minister of the Interior and the Minister of Economy and Finance must be heard this afternoon before two Senate committees. There are many criticisms of the management of the executive of these events, for some opposition MPs, it is especially the Minister of the Interior, who should leave.

In the National Assembly, the opposition parties are calling in unison the creation of a commission of inquiry and the hearing of Christophe Castaner, these days, not next week as planned, insists the Socialist Boris Vallaud:

“ Is it normal because it is a majority that is obviously close to the executive that we have to wait until next week to get the answers? I do not think it’s serious, „he says.

At the end of this hearing, the Socialists will eventually call for the resignation of Christophe Castaner. They are the only ones to be lenient.

“ An interior minister worthy of the name should have submitted his resignation to the President of the Republic. Afterwards, it’s up to the president and the prime minister to accept it or not, „said Christian Jacob, head of the Republican deputies (LR).

On the extreme right side, we are even more severe. According to Sébastien Chenu, it is the entire executive who must question himself. “ Mr. Castaner never had his place as Minister of the Interior. He showed us the abyssal extent of his invalidity. So leaving it is one thing, but changing the policy would in my opinion make more sense, „he says.

And the member of the National Gathering (RN) goes even further. He asks for early elections. An opinion shared by France insubordinate (LFI).
