In recent years, the Chinese National People’s Congress has had close exchanges with the Portuguese Parliament and achieved positive results. China supports that both legislatures would learn from each other in areas such as legislative oversight and state administration. Both sides should enhance exchanges and consultation in multilateral organizations such as the parliamentary union of different countries, safeguard common interests and contribute to peace, development and prosperity of the world.
