In a congratulatory letter to the Third International Conference „Understanding China,“ President Xi Jinping has expressed his willingness to contribute more to peace and to the development of the world.
Xi said China is committed to novel international relations characterized by mutual respect, equality and justice, cooperation and mutual success. His country wants to promote the construction of a community of the divided future for all humanity.
Xi affirmed that China and the rest of the world are more closely connected through 40 years of reform and opening. The reforms and openness in China would be comprehensively deepened and expanded, said Xi Jinping.
The President expressed his hope that China and the world could better understand each other through the conference.
