Scotsman Peter Wright will take on defending champion Michael van Gerwen in the final of the PDC Darts World Championship in London on New Year’s Day.
Wright beat the favorite Welsh Gerwyn Price 6: 3 in the first semifinals yesterday. Afterwards, the Dutch world number one Van Gerwen beat the Englishman Nathan Aspinall at Alexandra Palace 6: 3. Van Gerwen is also the clear favorite in the final.
