In a truck that was burned on the Venezuelan-Colombian border on February 23, tools for creating barricades were discovered. This was stated by the Venezuelan Foreign Minister Jorge Arreas in the UN Security Council.
He stated that the truck was set on fire by the “Molotov cocktail” from the Colombian side, RIA Novosti reports.
“And you know what? When the truck was examined, it turned out that it contained not only food and medicine, but tools for the barricades, wire, fences, nails for weapons, which the radical opposition was used to, ”he said.
Arreasa also said that during the protests, Venezuelan authorities used tear gas and not lethal weapons. According to him, the aggression came from Colombia.
Earlier it was reported that one of the trucks with humanitarian aid on the border of Venezuela and Colombia was burned.
