According to President Donald Trump, the United States has signed an agreement with biotech company Moderna to purchase 100 million doses of a potential coronavirus vaccine. He announced this yesterday (local time) in Washington at a press conference.
A decisive phase III efficacy study with 30,000 participants is ongoing for Moderna’s vaccine candidate. The test is carried out in 30 US states. The US government supports the project financially.
