The US aviation authority FAA claims to have found a potential risk in Boeing’s crisis series 737 Max. The problem must be resolved before the ban on aircraft can be lifted, the FAA said yesterday in Washington. The authority did not provide more specific information. An opinion from Boeing was initially not available.
The 737 Max series will have to stay on the ground after two deadly crashes with a total of 346 deaths since mid-March. A controversial control software from Boeing is suspected after the first accident reports as a possible cause of the accident. Whether the problem identified by the FAA is related to this is unclear.
