According to UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres, the coronavirus pandemic is a „threat to all mankind“. Guterres therefore launched a worldwide UN emergency call today to combat the causative agent of the lung disease Covid-19 in the poorest countries in the world. Two billion dollars (1.8 billion euros) are expected to come together by the end of the year.
