Twitter has again tweeted a tweet from US President Donald Trump. Trump sent a short message yesterday (local time) to demonstrators in the capital that they would face „massive violence“ if they tried to establish an „autonomous zone“ in Washington. „As long as I’m your president, there will never be an ‚autonomous zone‘ in Washington DC,“ Trump wrote.
Twitter hid the tweet behind a notice that said it violated network rules on “abusive behavior”. Since there may be a public interest in it, it remains accessible. However, the tweet can only be disseminated with a comment.
Previously, demonstrators had set up some barricades and tents near the White House and tried to set up an „autonomous zone“ to which the police had no access. In the city of Seattle on the west coast, the demonstrators had succeeded, which Trump had repeatedly condemned.
