A Boeing 737 Max 8 at the Jackarta Airport, Indonesia. US President Donald Trump announced Wednesday (March 13th) that all Boeing 737 MAX 8 and MAX 9 would be grounded in the United States.
„We will urgently ban all flights of the 737 MAX 8 and 737 MAX 9,“ Trump said from the White House. „The safety of Americans, and all passengers, is our top priority,“ he added.
Several countries have already immobilized these devices, a few days after the crash of an Ethiopian Airlines flight that killed 157 people, the second accident in less than six months for the Boeing 737 MAX 8.
