President Donald Trump’s spokeswoman, Stephanie Grisham, vacates the post after less than a year. The 43-year-old will become the spokeswoman and chief of staff for Trump’s wife Melania, as the White House announced today. A successor should be announced in the coming days.
Grisham had previously acted as spokeswoman for the First Lady before she was appointed spokeswoman for the president last summer. As a Trump spokeswoman, she was controversial. So Grisham never conducted a press briefing in the White House himself.

Despite the coronavirus pandemic, there are now plans to dial the US Democrats for the presidential election in the US state of Wisconsin. The Supreme Court overturned the ordered move by the state governor – against the advice of health experts and at „extreme risk“ to the public.
