President Donald Trump’s niece’s reveal book sold almost a million copies within a day. That was a “record” for the company, the publishing house Simon & Schuster announced yesterday (local time). With the sales volume of 950,000 copies, pre-orders as well as digital and audio versions of the book were also included.
Mary Trump describes her uncle in Tuesday’s Too Much and Never Enough: How My Family Created the World’s Most Dangerous Man lying and cold-hearted narcissists. On 240 pages, the psychologist also deals extensively with the complicated family history of the Trumps.
Mary Trump is the daughter of the President’s older brother, Fred Trump Jr., who died in 1981 from the effects of his alcohol addiction at the age of 42. Another brother of the president had tried in vain to stop the book from appearing by legal means.
