The Swedish climate activist Greta Thunberg is on her sailing trip across the Atlantic after dpa information but only later, as she expected, arrive in New York. Currently it looks like arrival on Wednesday evening or Thursday in the morning (local time), reported the dpa.
Previously, Thunberg had tweeted, strong winds driving the racing yacht „Malizia“ strong, which is why she and her fellow travelers expect to arrive tomorrow at the port North Cove Marina in Manhattan. Meanwhile, the team expects on the „Malizia“ but significantly decreasing winds.
On top of that, the racing yacht still has to drive up the Hudson River to the harbor, which should take about two hours.
