Despite the pandemic, a three-day techno party was celebrated in the Czech Republic. At the end of the day, around 900 people came together in a field around 60 kilometers south of Prague, as a police spokeswoman said. The day before, around 2,000 participants had even gathered. According to the authorities, this included hundreds of foreigners from neighboring countries such as Germany and Austria.

The police granted the party goers, although the action was not registered with the authorities. „Nobody wants a second CzechTek,“ said Interior Minister Jan Hamacek to justify the station Prima. In 2005 the Technoparty CzechTek was violently dissolved. Dozens of people were injured.

At 131, the number of new infections in the Czech Republic was again lower than on the previous days, as the Ministry of Health announced. So far, 368 people have died.
