Yesterday, Thousands of people have been displaced by Camp Fire, including in Northern California’s Butte County.

Many have been offered shelter in Chico City. A large contingent were once residents of nearby Paradise, a town numbering 27,000 which was almost razed to the ground, while others hail from the nearby town of Magalia.

As many as 150,000 people have been displaced by in the blaze, with a further 7,177 structures burnt in the fires.

The death toll for wildfires in Northern California has risen to 42, making it the deadliest fire in the state’s history.
