The so-called employment toleration of two years for rejected asylum seekers is not a solution to the problem, said Palmer on Deutschlandfunk. This is economic nonsense and humanly unreasonable.

The mayor of Tübingen spoke in favor of a lane change with cut-off date regulation. For all who are already in the country by 1 January 2019, one must provide for a permanent right of establishment. The prerequisite must be that they respect the laws, integrated themselves and do a job.

Previously, FDP Secretary General Beer in the „New Osnabrücker Zeitung“ had complained that with the planned immigration law run the risk of deporting qualified, well integrated rejected asylum seekers and parallel to want to recruit new professionals abroad.

The coalition wants to bring the immigration law in December on the way.
