Vasiliev noted that for the time being these are only plans for the implementation of which the United States and the Pentagon have no financial means.
“They are just voicing declarations of intent. The implementation of this plan, even under favorable conditions, will take years or even decades. So far, we can say that we are trying to voice some changes in the vector of American military policy, ”he concluded.
Earlier, the representative of the White House said that the new US missile defense report will focus on the placement of satellites in space.
It is noted that the report also includes a call for the development of intercept systems and satellites with laser installations.
