The police arrested a 36-year-old Algerian in the southern Italian port city of Bari. He is said to have been directly connected to the attackers who carried out the 2015 Islamist attacks in the Stade de France football stadium, in the Bataclan concert hall and in bars and restaurants in Paris.
130 people were killed and more than 350 injured. The Algerian is said to have delivered fake IDs to the attackers, the police said.
On the evening of November 13, 2015, during a football match between Germany and France, three suicide bombers blew themselves up in front of the Stade de France in Saint-Denis near Paris. Terrorist squads then attacked the Parisian Bataclan concert hall and several restaurants and bars with Kalashnikovs.
