The working group of South Korea and the United States on the DPRK will meet this week to discuss issues related to the meeting of US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and Deputy Chairman of the DPRK Labor Party Kim Yong Chol.
As the Ronhap informs, citing sources, the meeting will be held during the visit of South Korean Special Representative Lee Do Hoon to Washington.
The US delegation to the talks will be led by the special representative of the United States on the DPRK Stephen Beagan.
Earlier, the State Department said that the United States is looking forward to a new meeting between Pompeo and Kim Young Chol.
Pompeo meeting with representatives of the DPRK was scheduled for November 8, but then it was postponed.
