In the Egyptian province of al-Minja, strangers bombarded a bus with Coptic pilgrims today. At least seven people were killed, said a spokesman for the Coptic church. At least 14 people were sometimes seriously injured.
The Interior Ministry in Cairo said that a group of terrorists stopped the bus on their way to a monastery in al-Minja and opened the fire on the pilgrims.
One and a half years ago, assassins had attacked a bus with Coptic pilgrims north of al-Minja. At that time 29 people died, 22 were injured. The terrorist militia Islamic State (IS) claimed the deed for itself. The Egyptian military then attacked targets in Libya.
