Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov promised this on Monday in a video message on the website of the Russian newspaper Komsomolskaya Pravda.
Given the planned provocation by the Ukraine at the end of the month on the Crimean peninsula, Russia will take necessary measures. A war would be excluded, Lavrov said.
Russia does not want to break ties with Ukraine as the current bad relations are not related to the Ukrainian people. The majority of Ukrainians hope for peace and a normal relationship with Russia.
