The Swedish prosecutor has brought charges against US rapper ASAP Rocky. After a violent incident about three and a half weeks ago, the 30-year-old rapper and two other people are now responsible for assault in court, as the Stockholm prosecutor announced today.
Because of the incident, the rapper sits since the beginning of July in Swedish remand. He had been arrested after a concert because he was involved in a violent confrontation in Stockholm a few days earlier. The fight was recorded in a video.
Even US President Donald Trump had turned on the case. Celebrities such as reality TV personality Kim Kardashian and pop star Justin Bieber had demanded the release of ASAP Rocky.
