One woman has made rape allegations against Brazilian soccer star Neymar. She accuses the athlete of forcing her to have sex in mid-May in a hotel in Paris, according to court documents cited by Brazilian media.
The woman, who lives in Brazil, Neymar should have met through the online photo service Instagram. The footballer, who is under contract with the French champion Paris Saint-Germain, then invited her in mid-May to visit the French capital. At a meeting in a hotel, the 27-year-old had then become aggressive and have used force to have against the will of the woman sex with her, it was reportedly in the ad.
„Would never do that“
Neymar rejected the rape allegations. „Anyone who knows me knows my character and my style and knows that I would never do that,“ the striker said today in a video posted on Instagram.
„Normal relationship“
„What’s happening is a normal relationship between a man and a woman, something that happens between four walls,“ he said. After the meeting in Paris they had „continued to exchange text messages“. Neymar also posted the communication between him and the woman, which took place in the social networks between March and mid-May.
Prior to the pro’s statement, Neymar’s father and manager Neymar Sr. had already rejected the allegations and spoken of a „trap“. Even Neymar’s spokesman denied the allegations.
