North Korea is barring further negotiations with the US on its nuclear weapons program for the time being. One day after the end of more than eight hours of working talks between the two sides in Sweden, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Pyongyang accused the US today of a „hostile policy“.
North Korea would not continue to negotiate unless the US took „practical measures“ to withdraw from its hostile policies. The statement was released by North Korean state media according to reports from South Korean news agency Yonhap. The US Department of State had previously stated that the talks should continue in two weeks.
