DPRK leader Kim Jong-un and US President Donald Trump at a meeting in Hanoi agreed to continue the discussion of bilateral relations. This is reported by the Korea Central Telegraph Agency (TsTAK).
According to the agency, during their second summit, the leaders of the DPRK and the United States „agreed to maintain close ties in the future for denuclearization on the Korean Peninsula and the epoch-making development of Korean-American relations.“
It is also reported that the parties intend to continue „productive negotiations to resolve issues.“
Earlier, US President Donald Trump and the DPRK leader held a second summit in the Vietnamese capital, Hanoi.
Following the meeting, the parties did not reach an agreement.
Political analyst, head of the Center for the Settlement of Social Conflicts, Oleg Ivanov, in an interview with Inforeactor, summed up the results of the Trump summit and Kim Jong-un.
