In the Russian capital Moscow, the number of infected people is probably three times as high as stated in the official statistics. In fact, around 300,000 people have been infected with the corona virus, said Mayor Sergei Sobjanin of the TASS news agency. According to the latest information from the authorities, over 92,600 cases of infection were registered in Moscow.
There are over 177,000 across the country. Over 11,200 new cases were registered in just one day – more than ever before in a day. The death toll is over 1,600.
