In an old people’s home in Budapest, more than 100 people were infected with the corona virus. That was announced by Hungary’s chief medical officer Cecilia Müller in Budapest today. Five seniors had died of coronavirus-related lung disease Covid-19. Among the infected are residents and carers, she added, without breaking it down.
According to earlier media reports, 500 elderly people live in the affected old people’s home, many of them with previous illnesses.
