The number of coronavirus deaths in France has exceeded 10,000. As the health authorities announced in Paris this evening, 7,091 deaths have now been registered in hospitals and 3,237 others in retirement homes. Because of the corona virus pandemic, France has had a strict curfew since March 17th.
France does not plan to relax measures
France’s Minister of Health, Olivier Veran, believes that easing measures to fight the coronavirus pandemic is not yet possible. „We are still in the deterioration phase,“ Veran told BFMTV. Measures such as the strict curfew would have slowed development, but the pandemic continued.
