This year marked the 55th Anniversary of diplomatic relationship between Mongolia and UK. A delegation of Mongolian MPs made a visit last week led by S. Batbold, he head of Mongolia-UK Parliamentary Group. The chairman of the APPG on Mongolia, John Grogan welcomed the delegation and guided them to the Westminster House.
During this visit, the Mongolian policies on foreign investment and cooperation with Russia, China and Korea captivated the interests of UK MPs. The UK Trade Envoy, Julian Knight and Antonelle Amedei, the head of Global Business Development and Market Infrastructure Sales at London Stock Exchange Group expressed readiness to provide support in bringing Mongolian’s stock market into international level and privatise state-owned enterprises. Also, views on improving the cooperation between Mongolian Stock Exchange and London Stock Exchange were discussed.
