Mongolia-Kazakhstan relations advanced to new level

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Mongolia Zhalgas Zh. Adilbayev underlines that the visit of Mongolian Prime Minister U.Khurelsukh to the Republic of Kazakhstan has brought the bilateral relations between the two countries to a new level.

The Prime Minister of Mongolia U.Khurelsukh paid an official visit to the Republic of Kazakhstan at the invitation of the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan A.U.Mamin on October 10-12. Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan Zhalgas Zh. Adilbayev held a press conference on the results of Premier’s visit to Kazakhstan on October 23.

Within the framework of the visit, several documents were signed such as mutually rendering legal assistance on criminal cases, cooperating in education sector especially on mutually accepting educational documents, academic ranks and degrees. Moreover, a memorandum of cooperation was established in veterinary and quarantine field. Ambassador Zhalgas Zh. Adilbayev also mentioned the efficiency and diversity of the business forum held during the Premier’s visit which involved a variety of sectors such as art and culture, industry, investment, etc.

“CEO of “Erdenes Alt Resource” LLC B.Achitsaikhan and Director of “Symbat Engineering” T.M.Shopshekbayevich established an agreement on building and commissioning a gold and silver refining plant during the business forum and within the framework of it the Kazakhstan side is to give its technology patent of gold and silver refining worth of USD 30 million to Mongolian side free of charge. The plant which has a capacity to refine gold up to 99.99 percent is expected be commissioned by next year. Moreover, one of the highlights of the visit was signing a document on mutually accepting educational documents, academic ranks and degrees. In particular, the educational documents of graduates of Mongolian universities will be accepted in Kazakhstan and Mongolia will accept educational documents of Kazakhstan universities as well. The Government of Kazakhstan grants 25 scholarships after Nazarbaev annually to Mongolian students. Furthermore, granting refresher course scholarships is being discussed. Carrying out all these documents efficiently is the most important task.” he said
