Melania Trump calls for dismissal of government employee

First lady Melania Trump has publicly spoken out in favor of the dismissal of a senior government employee – a very unusual procedure for a president’s wife. Her spokeswoman Stephanie Grisham said yesterday that Deputy National Security Advisor Mira Ricardel no longer deserves to work for the White House.

The Wall Street Journal reported Ricardel was fired and escorted out of the White House. A government official rejected this presentation to journalists.

Conflict on Africa trip

Ricardel is said to have clashed with First Lady employees during Melania Trump’s Africa trip in October, according to the Wall Street Journal. She is also said to have been suspected of circulating negative stories about the wife of US President Donald Trump.

Since the congressional elections last week, it is expected that Trump rebuilds his government team. His Justice Minister Jeff Sessions has already forced the President to resign. The chair of Homeland Security Minister Kirstjen Nielsen is also said to be shaking. Trump is said to be dissatisfied with how she deals with the situation on the border with Mexico.
