Mainland China reported 108 new coronavirus cases yesterday, compared to 99 the previous day. It is the highest number of new infections in more than five weeks. Most cases are due to immigrants, the national health commission said.
On the mainland, 98 of the cases would come from overseas. According to official figures, the total number of confirmed cases is now 82,160 and the number of fatalities has increased by two to 3,341.
