Dozens of people have been killed or injured in a suicide bombing at a funeral in eastern Afghanistan.
An attacker detonated an explosive device during a memorial service for a police officer, a spokesman for the Nangarhar provincial government said today. According to initial information, there are „around 40 dead and injured“.
Meanwhile, gunmen attacked a hospital in the Afghan capital Kabul. According to the Interior Ministry, special forces were sent to the clinic. A panic broke out among patients and staff, said a doctor from the AFP news agency. At least eight people were wounded, including two children, the Ministry of Health said.
