In India, the number of new CoV infections every day has fallen to its lowest level in half a year. The Ministry of Health today reported 16,432 positive test results within 24 hours, the highest number since June 25. However, the particularly contagious virus variant that occurred in Great Britain was found in six people.
These are people who have returned from Great Britain in the past few weeks. They are now in quarantine, as are their close contacts. The authorities also tried to locate the fellow travelers.
