A 38-year-old man has been sentenced to life in prison today for a terrorist attack on a tram in the Netherlands. A court in Utrecht found him guilty of „murdering four people“ in cold blood in the Dutch city in March last year for terrorist reasons.
The court thus complied with the prosecutor’s request. A review of the judgment can be requested after 25 years at the earliest. The accused, who was not in the room when the announcement was made, had confessed to the crime.
