An Iranian who allegedly killed a soldier from the Revolutionary Guards (IRGC) in demonstrations critical of the regime was executed today. According to the ISNA news agency, Mostafa S. was hanged in a prison in the central Iranian city of Isfahan.
He was accused of killing an IRGC soldier during the 2018 protest demonstrations in Isfahan. The judicial authority in Isfahan announced, according to ISNA, that the death sentence had been upheld by the Supreme Court.
