“The conversations of the foreign ministers of the countries of Europe, on whom nothing depends at all, are an informational occasion, a call for Russia, not for the United States, to return to the INF. But we did not create this situation, ”he explained.
For his part, the director of the Institute for Applied Political Studies, Grigory Dobromelov, in an interview with Sputnik radio, expressed the opinion that the lifting of the restrictions imposed by the agreement primarily threatens the security of European countries.
Earlier, the foreign ministers of Germany, Sweden and the Netherlands, Heiko Maas, Margot Valström and Stef Blok, respectively, expressed concern about the future of the INF Treaty and called on Russia to return to its observance until August of this year.
