According to US media reports, a young man has planned an assassination attempt on the White House in Washington – but has already been caught by the FBI Federal Police well in advance.
The officers arrested him when he attempted to buy weapons for the alleged assassination from undercover agents in Atlanta, Georgia, and to pay his car.
Hand drawn sketch
The man reportedly carried a hand-drawn sketch of the ground floor of the west wing of the White House – where, among other things, the President’s Oval Office is located. The Federal Police had the 21-year-olds since March last year under observation. A danger to the general public or for government officials did not exist, it was said.
