The dispute between the US and the Chinese network supplier Huawei is enriched by a new facet. The company filed a lawsuit yesterday against the US Department of Commerce. According to the application, it is about telecom equipment that the company from China had transported to a test laboratory in California and from there wanted to bring it back to the People’s Republic.

However, according to Huawei, the charge was confiscated by the US government in Alaska. She is still there. The Chinese company stresses that the equipment did not require a license. It requires that the US Department of Commerce either release the goods or decide that the shipment was illegal. Initially the ministry did not receive any comments.

The US government has blacklisted Huawei for allegedly fearing that its technology could be used for espionage. This prohibits US companies from doing business with the Chinese company. Huawei has rejected allegations that it helps the Chinese state to spy on it.
