According to the Republicans in the US state of Wisconsin, hackers stole 2.3 million dollars from the party shortly before the election. The organization turned on the Federal Police FBI, said party chairman Andrew Hitt in an interview with Fox News today. The break into the IT systems was noticed last Thursday. The attackers were successful with a phishing attack, it said. In such attacks, users are tricked into revealing their login data with bogus e-mails, for example.
