Among other things, the peace talks for the civil war country of Yemen and the progress made between the previously hostile countries of Ethiopia and Eritrea, new signs of possible peace in South Sudan, the adoption of the Migration and Refugee Pact and the climate summit in Poland offer hope.
In 2019, climate change must continue to be actively combated. „At the beginning of the new year, let us make common threats, defend human dignity, and build a better future together.“
