The alleged murderer of the mayor of Gdansk is said to have planned an attack in Warsaw, according to a media report. This has announced the convicted man to a fellow inmate in prison, reported today the agency PAP, citing investigators. The 27-year-old Danziger had been released only in December after a five and a half years imprisonment for bank robberies.
He stabbed the mayor Pawel Adamowicz several times on Sunday during a fundraising event with a knife. The politician died on Monday, he is buried on Saturday.
The alleged perpetrator had already traveled to Warsaw one day after his release and tried to reach the grounds of Andrzej Duda’s presidential palace there at night.
