Climate protests based on the example of Swedish activist Greta Thunberg are scheduled to take place in more than 1,000 cities next Friday. To date, rallies in 1057 cities in 89 countries are planned, as evidenced on Monday from a list of the global network #FridaysForFuture.

In Germany alone about 140 protests are scheduled – more than in any other country this Friday. Among the cities are metropolises such as Berlin, Hamburg and Munich, but also smaller cities such as Rastede, Elmshorn and Seligenstadt.
