After Islamist terrorist attacks with many dead in recent years, France wants to take action against radicalization. A corresponding law should be discussed in the cabinet at the beginning of December, announced President Emmanuel Macron today in Les Mureaux around 40 kilometers northwest of Paris.
Macron said it was mainly about the fight against „radical Islamism“. He tries to establish a parallel society with different values in the country. He announced that it would be easier for the authorities to dissolve clubs in the future. „We have to go to the end.“
Distance learning is narrowed down
Distance learning for children who stay at home should be strictly limited from the coming summer. There should only be exceptions for health reasons. Lessons are compulsory from the age of three. In France, many children are in preschool from an early age.
The country has been rocked by Islamist terrorist attacks for years. Many of the perpetrators come from France. Macron recalled the knife attack near the former editorial offices of the satirical magazine „Charlie Hebdo“, in which two people were seriously injured on Friday. The 25-year-old suspect is being investigated on suspicion of terrorism.
