The second-largest US automaker Ford orders around 874,000 pick-up trucks in North America because of fire hazards in the workshops. Affected are, according to the manufacturer of yesterday (local time) newer vintages of the best-selling F-150 and certain other models of heavyweight F-series.
Because of a cable failure, it could cause damage to the engine block heater, warned Ford. There were three known cases in which broke out by this problem fire in vehicles.
