US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo is now embarking on a journey through three Central European states to promote greater US influence and a limit to Russian influence.
First stop is Hungary. Subsequently, he plans to travel to Slovakia and Poland, where Pompeo participates in a US-organized Middle East conference.
According to the US Department of State, Pompeo will „encourage allies to increase their resistance to Russia and China, trade, energy security and the rule of law“.
