Deutsche Bank does not have to hand over financial documents from US President Donald Trump immediately to the congress. The competent court in New York informed yesterday. This decision also applies to the Capital One Financial Institute. Previously, Trump and its affiliates had filed an appeal against an existing order.

Only on Wednesday had Federal District Judge Edgardo Ramos decided that Deutsche Bank and Capital One Financial are obliged to publish the financial documents. The judge dismissed Trump’s claim against the orders of two House committees. The Deutsche Bank had then announced to comply with the judgment.

Currently, Trump’s finances are screened by the US Congress and US state agencies. Germany’s largest money house had granted Trump high loans before its presidency and is therefore in the center of interest. Many other institutions had lent the former real estate entrepreneur no more money. According to a document from last year, Trump owes the Deutsche Bank Trust Company Americas at least 130 million dollars (116.21 million euros) in connection with real estate projects.
