
Four people were killed in the crash of a military plane in Kazakhstan today. The government of the Central Asian country announced that two people survived the accident and are in hospital with injuries.
The An-26 machine was launched in the capital Nur-Sultan and crashed on approach to Almaty, the largest city in the country.
According to the Russian news agency Interfax, it was an aircraft belonging to the Kazakh border guards. Photos and videos showed that the machine was upside down on the ground and was on fire.
