When landing a cruise ship in Venice, it has come to media reports to an accident with a tourist boat. The huge ship had – probably because of a blackout – encountered a parked boat at the dock San Basilio, reported among other things, the newspaper „La Repubblica“ today. Several people could have fallen into the water.
The newspaper Corriere della Sera reported that four people had been slightly injured on the smaller ship. The accident occurred according to information in the canal of Giudecca in the historical center of the city. The mayor of the city, Luigi Brugnaro, confirmed on Twitter that a ship had rammed the dock.
