A boss of the Camorra, the mafia in Naples, was shot today on a street in Acerra not far from Vesuvstadt. The 46-year-old Vincenzo Mariniello was in his car when killers opened the fire on him. The shots hit Mariniello’s head, he was dead immediately.
It was the second killing offense around Camorra this weekend. Yesterday, another person with involvement in organized crime had been shot dead in Naples. The police suspect a war among rival clans for the control of illegal business in the metropolitan area of Naples.
